Wednesday, Jul 31, 2019
01:00 PM - 02:00 PM
Location: Meeting Room 6
Description:
Participants will learn how children regulate their minds and their bodies so they can successfully engage in the education setting. When emotional regulation is honored in the classroom it instills competence, resilience and problem-solving skills so children can control their own emotions and not be controlled by them. Educators will gain tools to emphasize the development of emotional intelligence through interpersonal relationships to help children become mindful of the impact of their own actions.
